Instructional Focus
If we strengthen teacher content knowledge and pedagogical practices through targeted professional learning and collaborative planning, then teachers will design and deliver explicit, standards aligned instruction that ensures all students access grade level content and achieve mastery.
CAREER PATHWAYS
I.S. 229 provides exposure to various career options in theater, public service, engineering, content creation, music, dance, and related fields, along with the necessary training and support to pursue those paths.
